Spring Valley

As one of the first two tag-alongs during this adventure, I will give you my perspective as merely a fly on the moving wall of this 31stadium machine. The “Pitt – Stop” started in what can only be described as slow and distracted. We hit Pittsburgh and then spent some time finding a place to park near the stadium which ultimately cost us about 20 gallons of gas, 3+ hours, part of a hubcap, a little tailpipe and $200. The search was made worse because we were not only battling game traffic, but also concert traffic for the Tim McGraw / Black Eyed Peas Concert. But we managed to find a great spot just West of the stadium near a casino, which is always dangerous. While setting up, we managed to tie in with the RV behind us, which represents FanvsFan.com. They are a great group who appear to be making a lot of the same stops that we will make as they go from game to game running a forum for fans to debate different sports issues. But all in all we got a lot of inquires and encouragement for the cause, the road trip and Nate’s gold wig and half gold / half black painted face. He attended the game by himself and lasted until half time before the draw of free beer and food brought him back to the parking lot. After watching the end of the game in the parking lot, Nate and Nolan walked off to battle the nearby casino, a fight that would last until nearly 630 in the morning. Although Nate said he landed a few good punches, the casino ultimately won the fight. We took off fairly early and true to our form should be almost in Columbus, Ohio to get ready for the USC vs. Ohio State game…so I will say goodbye as I prepare to go swimming in a lake 90 miles east of Columbus.

Nate losing a battle to the casino? Who would have guessed. My question to Nate… why hasn’t the peach tuxedo made an appearance yet?
Maybe the peach tuxedo will come out in Denver? Thanks for ruining the surprise. Want to go to Vegas?
