Cheers

I’m sitting here at Fanuel Hall, eating a cup of clam chowder which will be followed by a Lobster Roll — you can’t get much more New England than that. Last night’s Patriots vs Bills game produced yet another ridiculously close ending. While Tom had his game face showing for the entire game, it wasn’t until the last 76 second that he started looking like himself. So that’s five games that have been decided by five or less points.
We’ve still got a lot to figure out with this RV lifestyle. Getting kicked out of the game parking lots makes for interesting evenings, especially when there’s still gridlock traffic after 1am. Overnight game lots are hard to come by, which doesn’t make much sense considering the nature of tailgating.
After waking up in yet another Walmart parking lot we decided to venture in to downtown Boston. We’re here eating at The Black Rose after I managed to bring us to the replica Cheers bar instead of the original. We still have a little site seeing to do, but hopefully we’ll end up at Fenway Park in a couple of hours. Will Walmart put up with us for yet another night?

YUM. I want clam chowder and lobster rolls. You should go to the North End and buy a dessert while you’re there.
Nik, I never made it to North End, but I’m sitting at a Flying J in North East, MD(yes, that’s the name of the city, not the area) and there are a lot of Tastey Cake options.
Hey guys, happy September 15th! Nathan, isn’t this your official departure date from the Army? Congratulations! Thank you for your dedication and service to our country. I just wish I would have been able to see you fly. I think you are awesome, and I’m not just saying that because I’m your mom.
I think the three of you are amazing the way you have put this trip in motion and thanks to the Veteran Ticket Foundation for helping the dream come alive.
May your journey continue to be safe and successful.
Love, Mom
PS – I’ve sent a pkg to Rody’s for you guys.
Thanks for the Congratulatory comment. It doesn’t seem any different but it is nice to think about. We spent it in style at Fenway and Boston. Looking forward to the package at Rody’s. We are currently getting some laundry done and cleaning a little. Not up to your standards but decent for us. Plus we are trying to get over the cold that ran ramped in the RV this past week. Talk to you soon.
Hey, I saw you guys rolling thru Bridgeport today about 5pm. Got a kick out of you RV looks like a nice way to get around. Keep up the good work & Be safe out there.
Hey Scott, thanks for stopping by. We see a lot of people staring at us, but we never know how many actually check out the site. Sometimes I wonder if it’s my driving causing the looks – I’m still getting use to handling the beast.
